Little stinKers featured in Total Licensing Magazine

StinkyKids is featured in the Summer 2009 issue of Total Licensing Magazine.  This is a tremendous opportunity for our brand as it introduces our little stinKers to the world of licensing.

The StinkyKids feature is on page 89 which describes our brands mission to expand into many product categories as well as publishing and animation.   We believe that licensing is our goal to take StinkyKids global and continue on our journey of making StinkyKids a household name.

As the article states..’StinkyKids is looking to expand as a property into many licensing opportunities as well as partnering with a company to produce the animated series and book series.  A first espisode has been written and there are 12 more story lines ready to go.’

Here is the link to the on line version of the magazine.

This week’s guests are Britt Menzies, founder of Stinky Kids, a children’s clothing brand that teaches kids about values, and her mother Merrily Ansell, founder of Books, Bears and Bonnets, a company that donates whimsical gift boxes to bring smiles to children and adults fighting cancer.

Britt was inspired by her mother’s journey to reinvent herself when she changed from being a financial planner for American Express to creating a company that spreads joy around the world. “While I was creating my new company called StinkyKids, I began to appreciate my mom, Merrily, more than as a great mom, but as a fellow business woman. After her sister Emily died from uterine cancer, my mom decided to leave the corporate world and form a non-profit in her honor (booksbearsbonnets.org) which delivers gift boxes to cancer patients.”

The StinkyKids motto: “Always Be a Leader of Good” is a concept that we created to teach our children to make right choices, not to follow bad behavior, but be a leader of good behavior. It made sense for the StinkyKids to spread this message, as it is so important to be good to people, make right choices and give back to our community. Now, these ten ‘little stinKers’ are role models to kids of all ages in social awareness and the importance of thinking of others and doing the right thing.
